This presentation will discuss research on L2 prosody and its importance for teaching language in context. Professor Chun will focus on the research and practice enabled by technological advances and will demonstrate software programs for teaching pronunciation and intonation. She will also suggest a future direction that increasingly integrates the prosodic dimension within a larger context of communication and behavior.
